On the given housing lot, we drew life-sizeÇÑ layouts.
On the first day of the workshop, we wrote detailed scenarios of an individual’s day in a house. We found new rooms that are necessary for our lives and “wasted rooms” that are not used. On the second day, we drew a layout of rooms including our discovered information, with house builders, in other words, with housing design professionals.
Many architectural students and others created teams. Each team included one housing design professional. Together they drew up plans in the bold process of inserting a life-sized model onto the actual space (nIALL project site). Some housing makers stood with sleeves rolled up, excited with the discussion. Every one was enjoying a different kind of communication from that which they experienced everyday.
